Why I Work with Mother Earth: Reconnecting With Her Cycles

Mother Earth provides us with everything we need to thrive – clean air, water, food, shelter, and so much more. Yet, in our pursuit of progress, we have distanced ourselves from the very source that nourishes and sustains us. It's time to reconnect with Mother Earth and her cycles, to realign ourselves with the natural flow of life.

1. Acknowledging our own cycles

We, as human beings, are not meant to be constantly on the go. We are not machines designed for infinite productivity. Just like the earth and all its seasons, we also have seasons within us. We have periods of growth and expansion, but we also need periods of rest and introspection. It's essential to recognize and honor these natural cycles within ourselves.

By reconnecting with our own cycles, we can tap into our innate wisdom and find a deeper sense of balance and fulfillment. Embracing periods of downtime, hibernation, and inner journeying allows us to recharge, reflect, and gain clarity. It is during these moments that we can nurture our souls and rediscover our true purpose.

2. Harmonizing with the rhythms of nature

Mother Earth has her own natural rhythms and cycles that guide all life on this planet. The changing seasons, the ebb and flow of tides, the rising and setting of the sun – these are all reminders of the cyclical nature of our existence. Just as the earth goes through its cycles of growth, death, and rebirth, so do we.

Aligning ourselves with the natural rhythms of nature brings us closer to the essence of who we are as beings intertwined with the earth. It allows us to attune ourselves to the subtle energy that flows through all living things and find harmony in our lives. By embracing the ebb and flow of life, we can tap into a deep sense of peace and interconnectedness with the world around us.

3. Cultivating a sense of gratitude and reciprocity

Working with Mother Earth is not just about taking from her; it's about cultivating a sense of gratitude and reciprocity. When we reconnect with her cycles, we realize that we are part of a larger tapestry of life. We understand that our actions have consequences, both for ourselves and for the planet.

By consciously living in sync with the cycles of the earth, we can become better stewards of the environment. We can adopt sustainable practices, reduce our consumption, and nurture the earth that nurtures us. This sense of reciprocity fosters a deep sense of gratitude for the abundance and beauty that surround us.

Let us remember that we are not separate from nature; we are an integral part of it.

It’s part of the return home….Coming back to who you were always meant to be.
